Chimpanzees are our closest biological relatives, sharing about 98% of our DNA. However, due to the rapid growth of the human population and the resulting destruction of their natural habitats, the survival of these fascinating primates is increasingly threatened. Today, wild chimpanzee populations remain confined to a few protected areas across Africa. In Tanzania, chimpanzees can be found in three key national parks: Gombe Stream, Mahale Mountains, and Rubondo Island.
This 3-day Chimpanzee Tracking Adventure invites nature enthusiasts to embark on an unforgettable journey into Gombe Stream National Park, located in western Tanzania. Join us for an opportunity to come face-to-face with our closest evolutionary relatives in the wild!
